Gale was born as the child of the usurper king Kaito Shurinai, who was as fierce as he was sexist. Because of her fear of her husband’s rage, Gale’s mother taught them how to hide themselves from her father and glamour themselves as a boy. Now, Gale struggles to come to terms with the death of a close friend–and his fate.

APPEARANCE
Gale is a medium dark-skinned beauty with viking-blue hair and sunglow-orange eyes. Gale has a pear-shaped figure, even when they're glamoured as a male. They stand an astounding 6’8” tall and their hair reaches down to their hips. They always wear their hair down, hiding their face behind their bangs that hang from either side. They wear a headband across their forehead to pull their hair back only slightly. Being an Ex, Gale also has elongated canines, a dark grey tongue, and a medium-pale grey palate.

Gale wears a blue, long-sleeved jacket that sports a large collar. It latches together in the front with a single golden chain, though it doesn’t close. When in the field, Gale sometimes ties their jacket around their waist, allowing for them to sense the world around them with heightened senses. They often wear a bandage wrapped around their torso and arms. They wear blue pants with large, flowing legs. Their feet are also wrapped in bandages and they wear white slip-on shoes.
Casual
Gale prefers loose clothing. Any cardigans, turtlenecks, and cowl-neck sweaters will do. Gale also loves to wear loose-fitting yoga pants. They usually walk around barefoot; their feet are still bandaged.

The shyest and most reserved of the three heads of the Rebels, Gale’s personality shows through on the battlefield. They tend to hang back in the shadows, providing support and gathering information for their allies. They are trained in close-quarter combat, so in the occasion that they’re cornered, they can either create a distraction and flee or strike the threat with alarming precision. They can “strengthen the spirit” with their small harp.

BACKSTORY
Gale was born as the daughter of the usurper king Kaito Shurinai. In fear of the king retaliating, Gale’s mother gave them a male glamour and instructed them to keep their identity hidden from their father and the council. During the fateful kingdom siege of Platinia at the hands of its previously excommunicated denizens, Gale and their mother fled to Auron to escape pursuit by Corruption’s children.
- On the way to Oniyex, Gale met Luke.
- After witnessing Gale's training and display of artistic talent, Incubus the Benevolent took Gale under her wing.
- Gale became fascinated with spiders.
- Gale joined the Spade Orchestra.
- Gale joined Luke in leading a siege on the latter’s workplace.
- Gale discovered Andy and took a liking to him. They stalked him closely.
- They lead a variety of operations across La Seri, luring youth who suffered physical, mental, emotional and sexual abuse into “Father’s loving arms.”
- Gale found out about a new abductee, Terry, through Luke. The two had a disagreement. Eventually, Gale sympathized with Terry when they witnessed Kitsu’s intense training and how harsh the prince was on the child.
- At the behest of Luke, Gale ran away with their friend and Terry. After Dr. Rolaeko Menguishi treated them, Gale, Luke, and Terry founded the Rebels.
