To track the passage of time, Ambrosians keep a global calendar. There are 13 months on the Ambrosian calendar, each with 28 days. The standard format for writing dates is <code>Day Month, Year</code>. There are also several abbreviated versions:

* <big>'''Abbreviated:''' 1-Al_313x</big>
* <big>'''Numerical:''' 1.1.313x</big>

Note the "<code>x</code>" at the end of the date. The X simply serves as a suffix that keeps track of the number of years since Ambrosia had been spirited away to the [[Phantom Dimension]].
